Ok. Now, the gathering style.

Anyone wants to join me to see this show? It'd be awesome!!!! 8-D Manifest your intentions *today*, *before end of the afternoon* so I can byu tickets accordingly. Don't be shy! I don't bite; I just tease. ;-) If I have never seen you live yet, isn't it a good occasion to do so? ;-)

You don't know Massive Attack? I'd say "WHAT?". It has to change. Let me smash your door with the Mezzanine CD in my hands, reaching for the CD player right f***ing now! I'm kidding. :-) But I can introduce you without forcing your door. :-)

Yesterday night, I have been hit by beauty, I have been struck by beauty, I have been penetrated by Beauty itself. The most superb quartet of strings I've seen played infront of us the most incredible and beautiful hymns I've heard, always playing two or three different instruments during the same song. There was cello, violin, viola, xylophone, different types of other strings instruments, wine glasses, a saw, some keyboards, chime and others... I have never liked opening acts before, but yesterday, it all changed drastically. All songs played were simple at first, with very beautiful melodies, then were getting refined again and again, gaining in complexity, but displaying even further beauty itself, because beauty can't be always simple. We were happy, and it wasn't over.

Then came the group. Four more Islandic people, accompanied by the cord quartet. All playing together all the time. It was pure. Kriss mentionned that he was loosing his virginity for the second time in his life, and I know what he meant. It was one of the greatest show I have ever seen, even shadowing Björk's show. After seeing these Islandic performers, I understand more what Björk does, and just try to imagine extracting the most beautiful of her music: the organic electronic beats and sounds, the cords, the xylophone, etc., and distillate and expand that and you get the most beautiful music you could hear. I could never appreciate the crap they play on radio, not that I was able to appreciate it, but it is now over now that I've heard real music, enjoyed the beauty of real instruments. Now that I've tasted the real thing, I would never go back to the very pale, simili approximate of an imitation of maybe music.

I will alway remember this Amina and Sigur Ros show.
