My lost cat is now back, after spending 11 days lost outside. She has never been used to being free outside and I feared she would freak out all this time. The few times she escaped, it's been very very delicate to get her home since she would transform herself like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. She was just wild and savage, bitting anyone approaching her. I feared that.
So when I got a phone call this morning saying my cat was one street away from my place and that she was lying in the stairs, I had to be prepared. I brought saussages, her food and a towel. To my surprise, when I saw her, she was calm. She was looking at me very calmly, as if I were part of the landscape. I called her and then all of a sudden, she stood up, became verbose and decided to climb down the stairs in my direction. I simply grabbed up and carried her home. What a change with the past! All this time with anti-depressant really helped her personality. She was scared of planes and cars as we were reaching home, but fortunately, the trip wasn't very long.
After a well appreciated lunch, the first thing she did was to play with baprime's hand-made wool mouse. :,-)
My other cat, Athena, is unhappy to see the Chouchoune back. I expected that, but gosh, she was just in affection crisis for all the time Chouch was gone!
